No prerequisite required. $300 Professionals

Join us for an intensive two-day training on the legal landscape governing access to services for individuals with autism. We will cover topics including: Mental Health Parity, state mandates, ACA Section 1557, Americans with Disabilities Act, medical necessity guidelines, ERISA, Medicaid, services in the school setting, and diagnostic requirements, among others. We will discuss how these laws apply to different types of insurance and effect different types of providers and consumers. Specifically we will talk about the implications of these topics on service delivery in the state of South Carolina, and the South East region.

In this training you will learn how to better advocate for your clients, and how to use the law to win appeals and approvals from payors, increasing your funding.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to interact with and ask questions of renowned autism attorney, Dan Unumb. This course will not be offered again in South Carolina in the near future!
